Mexico Rocks
The tours begins by either meeting us at our tour center or arranging a pick up from your resort. Once on board it is a short boat ride to Mexico Rocks marine reseve. Mexico rocks is divided in 2 sections; the lower patch reef system and the upper patch reef system. Here our lincensed tour guide will give you a briefing on how to properly use your equipment, rules and regulations that will need to be followed. Mexico rocks is a patch reef system between our barrier reef and our shore line. Water depth is an average of 10 ft. Once in the water you will be snorkeling on top of patches of corals surrounded by marine life. There are fish all around you when you are snorkeling, like snappers, sting rays, parrot fish, angel fish, butterfly fish aand spiny lobster just to name a few. You spend about 1 hour and 15 minutes on each stop. Once on board and after a break the boat will move to the upper patch where you will have the opportunity again to snorkel with schools of sergeant majors, snappers, and groupers just to name a few. Once on board it is a 25 minute boat ride back to the starting point.
