Deep Sea Fishing

We start by meeting us at our tour center or picking you up. Deep sea fishing is done about 2 miles outside the barrier reef. Trolling is done by putting out some fishing line with either artificial bait or most commonly used ballyhoos. The boat will speed at, depending on the season, between 6 and 10 knots. You will just wait for a fish to bite the bait and you will hear the fishing riddling and our tour guide will say fish on. Once the fish is on the guide will handle you with the fishing rod and he will assist you in how to fight the fish. The most common fish during the summer are mahi mahi (dorado), tunas like black, yellow, big eye bonitos, barracudas, sometimes sailfish or white or blue Marley. After 4 fun hours of fun the guide will clean and filet the fish you caught if you want to keep it. No keepers white and blue Marley, sailfish. More in the months of November to February is wahoo season.
