Our tour combines snorkeling at Mexico Rocks Marine Reserve with relaxation on Secret Beach. We'll pick you up from your resort or meet at our tour center. A short boat ride takes us to Mexico Rocks, divided into two sections: the lower and upper patch reef systems. Our licensed guide will provide a safety briefing and equipment instructions. Mexico Rocks is a patch reef system between the barrier reef and the shoreline with an average water depth of 10 feet. While snorkeling, you'll encounter a variety of marine life, including snapper, stingrays, parrotfish, angelfish, butterflyfish, and spiny lobster. After a break, we'll move to the upper patch for more snorkeling opportunities with sergeant majors, snappers, and groupers. A 40-minute boat ride then takes us to Secret Beach, where you can enjoy lunch at one of the many restaurants and bars. Secret Beach is a popular destination on the west side of Ambergris Caye, known for its beautiful, crystal-clear water and sandy bottom. Spend as much time as you like at Secret Beach, and enjoy a sunset view upon request at no additional cost. The return trip to your resort or hotel takes approximately 30-40 minutes.
