Our tour begins with a convenient pickup from your resort or a meeting at our tour center. A short boat ride will take us to Holchan Marine Reserve, where our licensed tour guide will provide a comprehensive briefing on equipment usage and safety regulations. You'll then have the opportunity to snorkel in this stunning channel for approximately one hour. Holchan is part of the Mesoamerican Barrier Reef, the second-largest barrier reef in the world. As you snorkel, you'll be surrounded by vibrant marine life, including schools of fish, snappers, stingrays, parrotfish, angel fish, butterflyfish, and more. Following your snorkeling adventure, we'll embark on a short 10-minute boat ride to Shark and Ray Alley. Here, you'll have the unique chance to encounter nurse sharks, often referred to as "puppies of the sea." These bottom feeders are harmless and offer an unforgettable snorkeling experience. You'll spend approximately 30 minutes swimming with these gentle creatures. At the end of your tour, we'll return you to your resort in approximately 15 minutes.
